Great Race marks the centennial of one of the most remarkable motorsports events of the 20th century — an race around the world from New York to Paris in 1908. In a re-run of that milestone event, the 2008 Great Race will depart New York City on 30 May and travel 35,000 km (22,000 miles), to Paris, France and finish on 2 August.
